Old Fashioned ChristmasFriday, December 13, 20195 p.m. – 8 p.m.1 Courthouse Square, InvernessHistoric downtown Inverness is transformed into an old-fashioned Christmas scene with a 22 foot Christmas tree on the Valerie Plaza and glowing lights around the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum. The food trucks, merchants and choir begin at 5 p.m. The City lights the tree at 6 p.m. and the weather report calls for snow this evening. An old fashioned locomotive will provide free rides all night through the square.
It’s all about enjoying small town done right. Every third Friday, the City along with the Citrus MOPARS Car Club work together to host the live music car cruise-in. Each month is crafted to make the event unique and special. Don’t forget to circle the square and visit the local merchants and restaurants for specials.
