Since 1971, the Inverness Festival of the Arts has been a beacon of arts and culture in Citrus County. This art show is dedicated to bringing the best regional art to Inverness, and supporting local art students. We are writing this letter to invite you to participate in this festival’s purchase awards program.
When a Purchase Award is acquired by a patron or local business, their name is imprinted on the ribbon that can be used to acquire art during the Festival, just as if it were a gift certificate. After making a purchase, the donor’s ribbon will be proudly displayed in the booth of the artist, providing public recognition that your business is a supporter of the arts and the festival.

- $100 Maroon
- $150 Light Blue
- $200 Rose
- $250 Lavender
- $ 500 Peach
Purchase Award ribbons will be delivered to sponsors about two weeks prior to the Festival weekend. The Inverness Festival of the Arts is the only event of its kind in Citrus County because it allows only the finest craftsmen and artists to exhibit their work, which they earn through a thorough jury system. All artistic media will be represented, including watercolor, oils, acrylic, pastel, wood carving, pottery, stained glass, and original jewelry.
Checks must be received no later than September 1, 2018, and made payable to the City of Inverness, 203 E. Dampier Street, Inverness, FL 34450.
