10th annual Inverness St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival is set for Saturday, March 14, 2020 in downtown Inverness . This free family fun event kicks off with vendors at the Depot District. The parade will delight with nearly 75 entries starts at 6 p.m.  Following the parade, there is a Celtic concert by the band Lochlan at the tower stage at the Depot.  Don’t miss the leprechaun and fairy contest at the tower stage at 7:30 p.m.

7:30 p.m. at the main stage
No fee to enter and no pre-registration required. Contestants  show up to the tower stage at 7:20 p.m.

The emcee will have the crowd scream for their favorites in each category, so get ready to make some noise:

  • Youth Leprechaun
  • Adult Leprechaun
  • Fairy Youth
  • Fairy Adult

Starts 6 p.m.
Alert: Expect road closures  and detours to start at 2:30 p.m.
Detour: Use Seminole Ave. to Zephyr

Parade Participant Set-up

Parade participants set-up at the Citrus County Annex, 210 N. Apopka Ave., Inverness. Must be registered by March 9, and there are no day of event registrations.

Parade Route

The parade will start from Apopka Avenue, turn right on Dampier Street, and left on to Pine Avenue.  The parade will turn right on the Courthouse Square and pass the Old Courthouse and turn onto Old East Main. The last stretch of the parade will come up MLK Street and lead back to the festival at the new Depot District.
